Yardley is in her school choir, and on Friday they performed at Light Up LaGrange. It's a celebration they have to kick of Christmas. A bunch of choir's performed, the Main Street Firehouse had a Chili Dinner for everyone, Santa was there and the shops were open late along Main Street, so it was a fun little celebration. Yardley's group sounded great and we had a really fun time.
Then Saturday Morning, very early, we went to a chess tournament Graesie was in down in Louisville with several other schools. They competed most of the day, so Tadd and I took shifts so Tatum wouldn't have to go. Most of the time we just hung out in one of the classrooms with the kids from her group. She was awesome though. She showed great sportsmanship against some very serious players and had a blast competing. It was a fun experience, and she got a trophy so I think she'll do it again in January. Afterwards we celebrated at Gattiland (kind of like Chucky Cheese only with a better buffet line). It was a really fun weekend.
