When we moved into this house, we had originally decided that we were going to change the color on the living room walls. It's very red, and seemed dark, and we were sure it wasn't going to match the red in our furniture. But as it turned out, the red was a perfect match and we ended up keeping it, and now I love it, especially at Christmastime. 
We spent the weekend decorating. Graesie loves the decorations, I think more than any of us. After we'd finished she sat in front of the tree in a little rocking chair studying all the ornaments for about an hour, and did the same thing the next day. This is my favorite time of the year, and it's so fun having a daughter that loves it as much (if not more) than me.
