Memorial Day Weekend

Tadd helped one of his scouts with an Eagle project this morning and then came home and took Yardie & Graesie out while Tatum napped to try Geocaching -- we've only done it a couple times and failed both times. No luck today either, but they enjoyed trying. There was one near the "Welcome to LaGrange" sign by the railroad tracks, and Tadd took this picture of them that I thought was really cute.

Once they returned home we tried out a new spot. We'd heard about a place called "Puzzles" and thought it was something they'd all enjoy. It's getting a lot harder to find something to do as a family, now that they're all at such different stages, and interested in such different things, but this turned out to be a good fit for everyone. They had HUGE blow up slides and bouncy houses, a toddler play area, miniature golf, a movie theater, climbing wall, and dark light basketball. We almost had the place to ourselves too, which I was surprised about.

When we arrived Tadd took Tatum down the Saber tooth Lion slide, which was huge -- that was a big mistake, because it freaked her out for the rest of the time on slides. She just stayed in the toddler area or the bouncy house.

Later we came home and had bar-b-que, and Tadd and I relaxed and caught up on a couple "Lost" episodes. This has been such a good season -- we're hoping to watch them all before the season finale on Thursday, but I don't think that's going to happen.
