Tatum's last day of Preschool was Thursday. It was such a bittersweet day. Tatum has loved her school and her little friends she's made there. Her teachers Miss Kara and Miss Leeann were so good to her, and have taught her so much. Although we're excited to move, the preschool will be one of the things we'll miss most about living here. It was such a HUGE blessing for her to be able to attend the school and have them help her with her speech. Who knows, maybe that's why we ended up here?!

To celebrate the last day they had a field day. There were lots of fun things to do. They started out doing relays, and then went to their choice of bouncey houses -- they loved it and ran from house to house, then onto chalk drawings, bubbles and fishing for letters. After that we stopped and enjoyed some slushy's and took a break. Tatum was exhausted by this point and begging to go home and take a nap, but after our break we played archaeologists and went digging for bones in the sand -- Tatum loved that there were pink bones mixed in. She made sure each sand box had a supply hidden before we left. Then the kids played frisbee in a large field by the school -- they had about 15 of them so each child was able to play with their own and chase it. Finally they all played with a large parachute (except for Tatum, she was too pooped.) It was such a
gorgeous day, and it was so nice to spend the day with her and her friends.

After field day was over we all went inside and the kids snacked on cookies and punch. Tatum went around hugging each of her friends and teachers goodbye. I don't think she missed one. I felt like she understood, kind of, that she wouldn't be coming back, but on Friday she packed some popcorn and m&m's for her teachers and put it in her backpack to take to them. She's really going to miss it!
